I’ve never kept it a secret that I live to accessorize. I’m the type of girl who feels naked when she steps out of the house without the works – necklace, rings, bracelet, bag. Like today. I feel naked today because I forget my necklace, so instead I’m shopping pretty things on Etsy. I’m a huge fan of handmade and unique jewelry as opposed to the costume crap you can find at Forever 21 (Although, there is a whole lot of that in my closet. Who can resist a good trend?) and Etsy is definitely the place where you’ll find the biggest diversity of options. So, instead of keeping them a secret, I wanted to share some of my favorites with you!

Awesome jewelry collection alert! I’m drooling over Nach Jewelry. Each piece is a handmade out of porcelain and most of them are tiny animal figures. I love animal jewelry, it’s kind of sickness, so of course I was all over this pretty, colorful collection. If you’ve been following along, you know I’m a big fan of accessorizing and I love finding new pieces of jewelry because jewelry always fits and it can sit in a drawer for years and come out being a brand new on-trend piece. Perfect, no? The pieces are a little pricey for my budget, but they’re gorgeous and on my wish list for sure. I know I’ll be on the lookout for cheaper, knock off pieces in the stores this fall. Anyway, don’t take my word for it, check them out and tell me what you think in the comments!

Get ready to shine with this vintage rhinestone choker! Vintage costume jewelry is always perfect to add a little pop to any outfit and this rhinestone necklace is no different. In silver tones and white rhinestones, this elegant piece will work great for a fancy cocktail event or even just a night out in the club. You’ll definitely get noticed either way!
This vintage necklace is in great condition. No tarnish or wear and all the rhinestones are there. The clasp is easy to use and works perfectly.
The necklace measures 14 inches around.
This past weekend I noticed that the trees were starting to bloom all over the city and I couldn’t have screamed more like a little girl. It’s official! We’re done with the dreary days of winter and moving to summer! When you live in the Midwest you’re never really sure that winter won’t come back and bite you in the ass in the middle of May, so I try not to get too excited until I see the trees turning green.
With that in mind, everything that caught my attention shopping around this week was light and colorful, like newly springing leaves. I’m in a mood to throw out all of my black and grey clothes, but I’ll hold off on that I guess. But there’s nothing better than shopping for sun dresses and open-toed shoes when you can actually start wearing them!
I don’t think I’ve talked about UncommonGoods on here before, which is odd because I love suggesting it as a destination to anyone who asks me for gift giving advice. The site was actually recommended to me when I was in a bind trying to find a quick Christmas gift for someone I didn’t actually know too well. Needless to say, I found something that was perfect and have been a fan of the site every since. So, when they approached me to do a little review of their Mother’s Day Gift collection, of course I agreed!
